What’s included in the search?

Details of water and wastewater services at the property (not all properties are connected to the public network)
The location of public water mains and sewers in the area, which is useful when planning extensions or redevelopment
Details of any agreements or consents that could affect the use or enjoyment of the property
Analysis of potential low water pressure and possible remedial measures
The location of nearby sewage works, helping you assess any potential odour or noise issues.

The search will provide:

Detailed information from our database
Billing and metering information
A plan showing water mains, public foul and surface water sewers recorded near the property
Additional contacts, where necessary.

Costs (inclusive of VAT):

Domestic property search: £65
Commercial property search: £110

Please email [email protected] for BACs information and a unique reference number for tracking the payment.

Next, complete the search request form (page 3) and send it, along with payment confirmation, to: CON29 Enquiries, Matrix Water, 6500 Daresbury Park, Daresbury, Warrington, WA4 4GE.

Information required:

Submit the completed form with any relevant additional information. If the search is for a plot on a new or recent development, a building plot, or a property with a large area of land, please include a plan showing the property boundary.

Timescales:

Search results will be issued within 10 working days of receiving payment.

Delivery options:

Reports are sent via Royal Mail, or we can email them as a PDF if you provide an email address and tick the “receive results by email” box on the form.
